Triple Trillium accepted into Quilt Expo and Olbrich Gardens

I'm so excited to say that my Triple Trillium quilt is going to be in Quilt Expo in Madison in Sept. and then later Sept. it will be in the Olbrich Garden Quilts in Bloom show.. ( at least I am pretty sure because they called me to use a photo of it in their brochure)... This same quilt won and award of excellence in the Wow art contest in June in Wittenberg Wi.  At the time I made this quilt it was the largest quilt I had made it is 36" wide x 34" high.  It is a mixed technique..Using the technique I learned from Wendy Butler Berns and the other technique from Katie Pasquini Masopaust.  It was a really fun quilt to make.. the background fabric is Laura Wasilowski's hand dyed.. I just love her fabrics.  I would love to quilt this quilt all over again.. Since I have done much more quilting with my bigger quilt.  I think I could do a better job on it now.. but, that is all part of my learning process..
